9/11 - Navo

• The New York Times wrote about every single 9/11 victim. Al Qaeda planned on targeting nuclear power plants on 9/11 but feared things would get out of control.
• A month before the 9/11 President George W. Bush was handed a letter saying "Bin laden is determined to strike in US" saying they would hijack planes and hitting the NYC.
• After the 9/11 the Maasai tribe of Kenya gave 14 of their most important cattle to the US as an aid. 18 people were resuced from the pile or rubble or the WTC after 9/11. Micheal Jackson had a meeting on the WTC on the 9/11 but overslept.
• 9/11 wasn't the first attack on the WTC, but in 1993 a bombing occured killing six people. In 2006 Russia gifted the USA a 9/11 memorial monument which was built in Bayonne, NJ.
• The Attack on 9/11 resulted in the Largest Loss of life by a foreign attack on American soil. The 9/11 attack destroyed $100 million including Pablo Picasso's Art!
