  • The Periodic table is a chart that lists and arranges all chemical elements in a useful and logical manner. Elements are listed in order of increasing atomic number, lined up so that elements which exhibit similar properties are arranged in the same row or column as each other.
  • The Periodic Table is one of the most useful tools of chemistry and the other sciences. Dmitri Mendeleev is the creator of the periodic table. He created it to gain scientific credibility.

  • 90 out of 118 elements are found in nature, and 28 of the other elements are strictly man -made.
  • Dmitri Mendeleev had published the periodic table in 1869, it was the first widely recognized periodic table. There are 18 groups and 7 periods in a periodic table.
