Do immigrants have a right to public education - AJ

  • The United states of America has gone through some very massive changes in development. From it's high class nuclear weapons in our military to the end of segregation giving all rights for people of any color. The U.S is normally been known by many names such as the land of opportunity, or the country of liberty and freedom for everyone and all. This was true since the United States was ranked at the highest point in the circumstances of diversity including people of all colors. In the early 1900's many colored people would be separated and given unfair rights while light skinned people had received more and better resources and public treatment. A major problem that had been dealt with was that colored kids would get a worse education experience while the light skinned kids compared to the darker ones would have a more luxurious school and better resources along with the education. Many people think that even nowadays there is a newer problem erupting out of situations. This argument would be contradicting if whether immigrants should or should not be entitled to a public education.
  • Many parents, teachers, and guardians do believe that immigrated children have the right to a proper education as an citizen would. Especially, a mother in California would also strongly support that to. For Example,a boy named Francisco had just moved with his family from Spain into the United States, California because his parents had came for a better opportunity in making more money, so they each had received jobs causing them to come and make more money. They other wish was for their son to have a much better education than what he had in his old school, but the setback was that Francisco had known how to communicate basic things in English, but he had lots of trouble reading it. The good thing was that his parents could speak and read fluently, so he could learn more. Well, they had gotten settled at an apartment in San Jose', California. The first day of school had just ran around the corner and he got on his school bus to go to school, but he didn't talk to anyone at all. When he arrived at school everyone had introduced themselves and Fransisco spoke well and told the class and teacher everything about himself. The class was very nice to him and talked him and said their hellos since Francisco was a new student that came from a different country.
  • After everyone finished their conversations and their intro's to themselves the teacher had passed out tests to all of the students which was too see where the students stand at academically and also intellectually. All the students had to finish in the time of 45 minutes,so even through Francisco was struggling he still had to rush, so he had turned it in within those 45 minutes that the teacher had given the whole class. When Francisco's teacher had finished grading the test she sent it home with every student to let them show their parents. When Francisco's mom had seen that he gotten a big F with many questions wrong she knew that Francisco was going to need more help. The teacher had tried to help him keep up, but then after the first semester she had just given up and consulted with the principal who thought they should transfer him to a private school that was at a slower pace. The mom was angry because the school had a special help class for Francisco's grade and the other private school was run by Hispanic people. She had finally with a lot of push had forced the school to put her son in the special Education program at the school.
  • On the other hand, many parents believe that immigrants should not be entitled to a public education. For Example, some people believe that kids who are not yet citizens should not get the same educationally rights as citizens do. Parents believe that if schools keep allowing immigrants the United States might have more immigrants from foreign places than federal citizens. People also believe that it could attract more illegal immigrants to start entering the United States which could become a big issue. This could become serious because if illegal immigrants attend school they wouldn't pay taxes causing other citizens to have to pay for an illegal immigrants education without even knowing.
  • The U.S has been one of the most major countries because of what it's people have created. None of that couldn't have been created if it wasn't for the high standard education. The government has been trying to control the issue by coming to a reasonable solution.Would you choose to let immigrants have a right to public education, or would you be against it.

How Should We Prevent Future Mass Shootings? - Anita

  • As we are greatly concerned and primarily occupied with various significant matters, a few items that are constantly becoming unnoticed by our responsible government are somehow transforming into the greatest, most devastating, and heart - breaking tragedies of our common worlds and average lifestyles. Insignificant aspects of the once casual American routine have been greatly transformed into unpredictable items of mass destruction and absolutely misery. A prominent example of one of these revolutionary events includes the curcial and successful shooting incident present in the more isolated location of the simple and innocent Sandy Hook Elementary School, stationed quietly and peacefully in the average and undisturbed area of Newtown, Connecticut. Present in this insignificant location was sadly the final standings of twenty youthful students and six protective staff members, their deaths with bullets.
  • The extremely sudden aftermath of the devastating and oddly rare shooting incident raised an enormous amount of American suspicion and caused many neglecting citizens to wonder that if we can greatly monitor and regulate our common transportation vehicles of commonly used cars, we can we not discover a peaceful but legally supported manner of properly regulating the uncomfortable usages of dangerous guns? While even the preoccupied president was provided with multiple questions concerning the issue, he simply answered very blandly and not particularly an extremely exact and precise course of action. Even afterwards, he has not again taken any additional precautions or measures to ensure that the innocent, American school children can be entirely guaranteed their personal and mortal safety. After witnessing the upsetting killing of these innocent people, why aren't more civilians even concerned?
  • As an extraordinary amount of the innocent and youthful American children are being constantly felled and constantly endangered to be randomly stripped of their unpredictable futures and the successful, joyous lives they could possibly lead in their distant times, numerous Americnas are actually possessing and placing the incorrect blame upon the uncoordinated and uncontrollable lunatics and suicidal psychopaths roaming freely across our esteemed and protected nation. Now, we are actually directing our primary attentions and major blame upon these unmonitored people with their own personal issues and claiming that they are the main reminder of the amount of negatives and prominent imperfections in the established Americna system. Rather, we should attempt to reconsider the direction and reasoning of these useless blames and finally decide that our political government must take action.
  • David Hemenway, a significant and popular public health specialists residing in Harvard has authored a despcriptivd novel on the various aspects and flaws and positives of our common gun violence and various regulations. One of his most prominent statistics on the entire novel claim that innocent children ranging briefly from the noticeable ages of five to fourteen are an astonishingly thirteen times more likely and easily prone to be killed and downed by various unmonitored rouges in America. As these astounding notes are all revealed, we notice the turned reactions and numerous emotions of the protective adults and secure parents. Otherwise, we have actually been maintaining some order after the final relaizations of the people have been acknowledged by the entire government. Even when the slow progression is occurring, we should at most be grateful for the final consents and motives of our superiors.
  • If we decided to consider that this entire gun violence frenzy and prominently devastating events were the central part of the current health and public issues, we could safely estimate that at least a single American, an innocent civilian, is being ultimately downed by the deadly and dangerous gun every twenty minutes. Even though we continue to strive to entirely perfect this wonderful nation with newly arising flaws, we are extremely slowly beginning to persist that our powerful superiors acknowledge the various experienced and dreadful dangers form the common perspective of the average American. Questions simply ravage the controversial minds of this tossed on both of the undetermined sides of this serious topic of overall discussion. Why should the average person possess a violent gun when the government cannot legitimately trust them? Without access to guns, how may be capable of our personal protection?

Are schools giving students enough opportunity-AJ

  • Kids in school have been known to learn and to grow slower or faster than others. This causes schools to give such classes like special education classes and also intermediate or advance classes for the outstanding students that do well in a specific subject. Many kids have been known to be good at different kinds of things like for example, some kids may be really good art rather than studies and some kids could be bad at some subjects, but they could really succeed in many others. In school many parents have inferred that school has been also killing student's creativity. This has been proven as a true point because many school standardized teaching methods only really show students or enforce them to do a problem in one way and one way only, but know schools have slowly started show kids different ways to look at or interpreting things in different ways to get the same exact result each time. Now an argument has been created stating that students should be given more opportunity in their classes while others say that students are getting enough opportunity in their schools.
  • Many parents have said that schools have not giving students their righteous amount of individual opportunity. A mother in Pennsauken,Pennsylvania would believe that her son has not been given enough individual opportunity in his school. For example, A boy named Jacob had just entered his new middle called Ridge wood and it was his first day of going to sixth grade. His mom at the begging of the summer  started to prep him for his classes he was going to come across in sixty grade and she taught him above the standard curriculum. He had taken a standardized test on his first day to see how smart he was. He had received the score in his mom's mail finding out that he got a 100% which 86% was the score to pass the test. He had been very confident in his subjects that he was stating to prevail, and his first semester report card grades had really shown that he was doing very well. He had even asked his mom if she could ask the principal to put him in a higher class.
  • Jacob's mom did think he was doing really good with his regular classes, so she had left an email to the principal and asked him to review her son's grades. The principal reported back saying that all good students still have to do and go to the basic classes because the all the advanced classes there were had been completely filled because Jacob's test was one of the last graded. She was kind of upset because after a while of the school year had passed her son had still been saying that his school was too easy and that he wanted a challenge. She told his teachers, but most of them did nothing, and two of them made him tutor some special Ed. kids because he was one of the first to finish his schoolwork. The mom had been tired and had complained to the principal, so the principal had found out that Jacob had been doing better than one of the kids in the advanced classes so Jacob had finally gotten swapped and given more of a challenge.
  • On the other hand, many people believe that nowadays schools have been giving kids more opportunity. Many parents have said that in their children school students have been immediately put in their advanced classes if they did an outstanding job on Parcc in their previous year. When they get into their classes they give more competitive opportunity to such as math competitions and computing Algebraic problems.Schools have been giving more opportunity by letting kids have many productive events such as science fairs for their talent of engineering. They have also created advanced classes for kids who are talented in things Art,music, instruments,Spanish, and even Physical Education. People have said that schools have been expanding on Children's opportunities.
  • Many schools have shown that kids should have a tremendous amount of opportunity, and that some have lacked thoroughly in that specific aspect. Kids can be given opportunity for all there talents and they can be put into higher levels. Another new thing is that schools have not been giving kids the freedom of creativity and that is something that many school administrators are try to incorporate with kids learning in school.

How well are schools dealing with kids who misbehave-AJ

  • Schools have offered many things to teach as kid completes his or her youth years in school. These lessons could go could go from your standard curriculum subjects( writing, spelling, reading, math, Language arts, science, and Social studies to learning your basic common sense and life skills. Nowadays teachers and guardians believe that students have now started to act up and be ignorant in class. People have now suggested that the problem could be that schools have introduced more handheld electronics such as personal Ipads, and laptops. This is a belief because with the wide variety of things that kids could do on their devices, they could also do many things that are not appropriate to school academics. Many other parents and teachers believe that kids have just been showing unexpected behavior that may show up in that students home or his/hers family environment. An argument sprang up stating or asking if schools are dealing well enough with the average kids misbehavior. Many parents have been voting on this question and many say that their child's school hasn't been dealing with misbehavior well enough while others say that schools have been doing a good job in that specific aspect.
  • Many parents support that their child's school has not been handling misbehavior well enough. A parent in New Jersey would agree that her child's school hasn't been dealing with misbehavior well enough. For Example, A Kid named  Arnold had just moved to New Jersey  from his old home in Oklahoma because his parents had just got new jobs in Robinsville, New Jersey. He had went to his new school for the first day and there he had met his new teachers and his new classmates. In class they had given him his new electronics for his schoolwork and his homework. He had told his mom after his first day that he started to like the school. When he had went back to school the next day he had to do partner work, but no one had tried to ask if they could partner up with him, so a group of the bigger boys had made fun of that while the teacher was using the restroom. He had been experiencing some bullying in school while being around that group and especially one kid named Shawn. Arnold had been distracted with Shawn constantly pestering and picking on him. He had even caused Arnold to stop interacting with many kids and that caused him to play by himself and sit alone at the lunch table.
  • Arnold was now starting to get sick of what was happening to him constantly at school. The kid Shawn had now started to misuse his school electronics and on a school used website he used an anonymous user a to publicly black mail and tease Arnold on the internet. Arnold was now so hurt that he had finally told his mom after this much consecutive misbehavior from Shawn. He showed his mom everything that had happened and how Shaun had picked on him in school. His mom was very upset and angry at the same time because the teacher had barely interfered in what was going on. She had then the next day consulted with the teacher and at the end of that day she had showed what Shaun was doing to her son Arnold. The teacher had finally acted out by taking away his electronica uses and put him in a daily class at the end of the day with the school counselor.
  • Many other parents on the other hand believe that their child's school has been dealing with students misbehavior very well. Parents have said that the schools have been putting many blocks on inappropriate things on their personal school devices. Many teachers have now been more strict and have now been watching many slight misbehavior kids may be doing and they try and fix it the first time. A parent said that her daughter was getting picked on and bullied in class and out, so before the daughter even told her about the issue, the teacher had already informed the father. The teacher had also shared some good solutions to the problem.
  • Nowadays the certain amount of misbehavior in school has arisen. These misbehavior could be that kids may be misusing  their school owned devices to picking on other kids or talking back to the teacher. Many other teachers believe that schools shouldn't be the ones to handle kid's misbehavior and that their parents should be the ones that should take full responsibility.

Do You Think A Healthier School Lunch Program Is A Lost Cause? - Anita

  • As our rapidly evolving and technologically advancing academies are frequently transforming to majorly accommodate the fashionable and attractive equipment of the newer centuries of vivid exploration, almost every, once permanent aspect of our settled and simple lives at our daily, average schools have extremely been impacted by the intelligent inventors and passionate leaders of the impacted world. Along with the unusual amount of usage in the advanced fields of evolving technology, minor aspects such as the proper, nutritious school lunch have also drastically been influenced, unluckily and unfortunately in a primarily negative manner from our previous, more positive practices in providing the starving students with healthy supplements to reenergize and sustain them throughout the draining course of the educational and productive day; now, the restless children are uncontrollable.
  • Numerous innocent students have unknowingly adapted their average diets to consume all the desirable, sugary, and unhealthy meals the evolving academies are providing to attempt and make a purchased lunch seem more attractive than the average one packaged quickly at a humble abode and instead transported to the academy premises. As more and more of these manipulated students are quickly anchored by the profiting schools, others are capable of realizing the multitude of negatives occurring meanwhile. Some began the newer organization of Healthy, Hunger - Free Kids Act of 2010, which promoted fewer calories and less starches, but more fruits and delicious vegetables. Occurring nearly around the same revolutionary period, various other resourceful students utilized other productive sources such as their various connections to their prominenrnt and publicized social media accounts to widely spread ideas.
  • While these various useful pleas for more nutritious and positive types and amounts of healthy supplements for an energizing meal were answered, the minuscule amount of rebelling students were satisfied while the remainder of the settled, unhealthy students, adjusted to their unusually sugary diets, began protesting due to the elevated amount of healthiest, minimized portion sizes, and drastically increased expenses placed on their average lunches. These particular students are utilizing impeccable Twitter and Facebook to publically protest in Pittsburgh, are organizing numerous large - scale boycotts in Milwaukee, a famous parody video in an isolated, simple farming and average ranching village settled in Kansas, and finally, dedicated students protestied for entire weeks straight in Parsippany, New Jersey. Now this once settled and adjusted idea has evolved into another controversial issue for all students.
  • The Healthy, Hunger - Free Kids Act of 2010 has primarily encouraged these once profiting academies to abide majorly by a set of academic and nutritional guidelines to ensure that their educated students are following a proper meal plan that reinforces rapid brain growth and monitors a healthy, productive body. To prod these stubborn schools even more, they offered an extremely attractive deal of offering to nationally provide these various contents of the balanced and positive meal to the school itself, permitting the profiting school to absorb the numerous amounts of precious money earned from the daily lunch to be kept by them. Otherwise, the majorly controversial organization is once again struggling against the relentless stubbornness of the ungrateful students, and therefore are finally being educated upon the daily issues the average dedicated and healthy parent may possss in providing for their children.
  • Due to the increased inclusion of healthy fruits and nutritious vegetables, the various lunch associates and staff have been informed on more productive alternatives to the average, unwise, childish desires. For example, an innocent student may request for cheesy nachos and instead receive some healthy string beans and a juicy peach cup. Due to the eliminations of increased fat and sodium, one may instead receive baked sweet - potato wedges as a more nutritious alternative to greasy fries. Due to the numerous calorie restrictions, the meat and elevated carbohydrate portions have totally decreased. Even the once widely consumed two percent milk has been transformed into entirely precautionary skim products. As the positive schools are now influencing the various inexperienced students to select the more healthy and similarly choices, they are ultimately impacting that particular person's overall future images.
