- The Lyrebird is a type of bird that I call "The Australian Peacock" and are noticed for their ability to mimic any natural or artificial sound.
- A male Lyrebird can have more than one mate and builds a dome like nest for the egg made out stick, leaves, roots, bark, and moss.
- A female Lyrebird will lay an egg either spotted or streaked and grey and purplish, which she will incubate for 50 days.
- In the winter, the male Lyrebirds will claim a part of the forest which he will call his own, and builds a series of mounds as stages to sing and display his arrays of beautiful feathers.
- Male Lyrebirds are great at mimicking because they can copy 16 or more bird calls and many artificial sounds such as car alarms and ringing telephones.
