• A meteor is just like a space rock traveling all around the galaxy.A meteor is also called a shooting or falling star.
• When a meteor from space hits the ground then it is called a meteorite.When a big meteorite hits the ground it creates a big hole in the ground called a crater.
• A meteor that has not yet reached the solar or galaxy atmosphere is actually called a meteoroid not a meteor.
• Meteoroids that are not yet in an atmosphere are sometimes small space rocks or small pieces of rock dust particles.
• Whenever a group of large meteors join they  create a meteor shower.Meteors come in different   sizes and colors,they all travel around the universe.
