Why Did the Dinosaurs Disappear? - Navo
Something Drastic happened 65 million years ago.According to one theory, an astroid more than 6 miles across struck off the coast of Mexico's Pennisula.
The impact created a huge crater, more than 110 miles long.
The dust settled, forming the layer of rich clay now formed in sedimentary rock under the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
Sciencetists link this global cooling to the extinction of dinosaurs.
Other scientists think that the atmosphere also caused the extinction of the dinosaurs.
