Pencil - Akilan

  • Pencil was found in 1565 which was only graphite
  • Wooden holder was invented in 1560 by Italians Simonio and Lydian
  • Pencil is hexagon in shape, after 1560 pencils were made up of wood and graphite
  • On March 30 /1858 the erasers at the back was introduced
  • Nowadays pencils are factory made with ground graphite and adding some water
  • Pencils were in different shapes as shown below
